Warranty Coverage by Service Type
Basic Staining & Sealing
Warranty: 6-months to 1-year
Includes surface cleaning, light sanding and application of solid water-based stain or semi-transparent stains. Ideal for clients selling a property or just looking for a deck refresh.
Basic Refinishing
Warranty: 1-1/2 year for oil-based / 2- years for water-based
Includes light pressure washing and scub brushing, medium sanding, and application of protective coatings. Recommended for weathered surfaces with moderate wear or discoloration.
Deep Refinishing
Warranty: 2 year for oil-based / 3 years for water-based
Includes deep cleaning with scrub brushing, light pressure washing, deep sanding and application of protctive coatings. Recommended for decks that have been neglected, exposed to extreme weather or never maintained.
Full Restoration Projects
Warranty: 2 Years for oil-based / 3 years for water-based
Includes deep cleaning, extensive prep, repairs, deep sanding, sealing, staining or painting. Best for aged decks, neglected woodwork, or high-traffic outdoor areas requiring full restoration.
New Deck Preservation
Warranty: 2 years for oil-based / 3 years for water-based
Includes deep cleaning to remove tannins, light pressure washing, sanding and applicatiotion of stain.

Q: What warranty do you offer for deck staining, refinishing and restoration?
A: 6-month to 3-year workmanship warranty covering application quality and coating performance.
Q: What’s covered under the warranty?
A: Peeling, flaking, or premature coating failure due to workmanship or product selection. We also include 2 maintenance each year to check for any issues and to remedy any future problems.
Q: Can i get a longer warranty?
A: Yes we have maintenance pakages that can keep your deck looking good all year long. This is more for commercial properties but can be great for residential projects also.
Q: What’s not covered by the warranty?
A: Acts of God, Improper Maintenance, Surface Damage & Misuse, Unauthorized Modifications, Environmental Factors, pet damage.

Improper Maintenance: Using unapproved harsh chemicals, pressure washing too closely (excessive PSI), or failing to clean mold and debris buildup can void your coverage.

Surface Damage & Misuse: Scratches from dragging heavy furniture, grill burns, pet claw marks, or punctures from sharp tools are considered "user error" or normal wear and tear and are excluded.

Unauthorized Modifications: Any repairs or additions made by a third-party contractor or the homeowner after the original installation will void the workmanship warranty.

Environmental Factors: Discoloration caused by rubber-backed mats, leaching from metal furniture, or exposure to extreme heat (like reflections from low-E glass) are excluded.
